2018 Kanzem Altenberg Riesling GG, dry, 13% vol., Von Othegraven

The Othegraven winery is proud to call some of the best locations on the Saar its own. Each one represents a great terroir with its unique slate soil and specific microclimate. Like a monumental cliff face, the Kanzemer Altenberg stands in a perfect south-southeast orientation. As in all Othegraven locations, Devon slate is the defining element, in the Altenberg with traces of iron oxide. A noble wine grows there, mineral and warm at the same time with inner greatness and completely at peace with itself.
