This is one of the smallest individual vineyards in the Nahe and it is located right next to the Karthauser. Weathered volcanic rock and iron ore-infused clay characterize the soil. The sum of the circumstances here regularly results in the lowest yields with the highest extract. A lush fruit that becomes more and more reminiscent of tangerines as it ripens. A dense, elegant structure makes the Riesling wines unmistakably silky and yet exciting. Historically, the St. Remigiusberg takes us to the Benedictine monks who were active in Laubenheim at the time and is reminiscent of their Prince Abbot of Reims, who was canonized after his death.
