The grapes for this Pinot Noir come from the limestone-rich villages of Ruppertsberg, Konigsbach and Haardt. The Pinot Noirs have a reduced yield even at the base and are left in contact with the mash for a long time. The Burgundian aromas are enhanced by aging in used barriques.
