2023 Grauburgunder QW, dry, 12% vol., F. Becker

Grown around Schweigen on the German and Alsatian sides on limestone and sandstone soils. The vines are between 15 and 34 years old. Light yellow with pink reflections. The scent is of light red fruit, hints of ripe stone fruit, citrus and grapefruit. Fine and juicy on the palate, drinkable with a fresh character and a long finish. A wonderfully stimulating play of acidity. The light rose color is explained by the full ripeness of the pink Pinot Gris grapes.
