DE-OKO-039 The 2021 vintage presents itself in the glass in a delicate, light yellow. The nose initially reveals a minerality typical of Rudesheim, accompanied by green fruits and aromas of raw, green asparagus and a hint of pepper. On the palate, the Riesling is quite cool with hints of fresh lemon, green apple and again with an exciting minerality. The elegant acidity rounds off the taste profile excellently and underlines the fresh character of this Riesling. The Balthasar Ress winery has owned vineyards in the classified locations of Rudesheim for decades. Only the Schlossberg mountain and the Rottland mountain make it onto the label by name. The Klosterlay, Bischofsberg and Roseneck locations, which are also classified, form the basis for this Rudesheim local wine - the introduction to the fascinating world of mineral Rudesheim wines of world renown
