2018 Caviar de Pinot Noir, dry, 13.5% vol., B. Ress

The `Caviar` Pinot Noir has a brown-red color in the glass. The first sniff reveals intense notes of blackberries and currants. This Pinot Noir is also fleshy and juicy in taste and impresses with aromas of dark plum. An enormously rich, juicy and long wine that is full of fruit and at the same time elegant with a long finish. A wine with storage potential and the ideal food companion for fine moments! The `Caviar` is an exceptional wine in every respect. Perfectly ripe grapes are destemmed in the most gentle way possible, namely by hand. The grapes are then stomped with the feet, as in the old days. The name `Caviar` comes from the well-known master sommelier Hendrik Thoma. He saw the photo of the destemmed grapes on Facebook and wrote: `Great! That looks like caviar!`
