DE-OKO-039 The grapes come from several Rheingau locations. The Rheingau soils leave their signature in the wine in the form of fine melting and minerality. The 2021 PetNAT Riesling presents itself in a tangy, pear-yellow color. The nose initially reveals fruity notes of ripe, red apple and apple must, paired with a hint of vanilla. Fruity notes also dominate the palate. Gooseberry and sour cherry meet green apple and fresh alpine currant. In addition, there are yeasty brioche aromas and a subtle salty note on the finish. The high, yet very fine perlage, in combination with the elegant acidity, complements the taste profile and guarantees drinking pleasure from the first sip.
