The gently golden (=aureus) Burgundy. The loess and limestone marl soil increases the storage of sunlight and this gives this brilliant Pinot Gris depth and structure. In addition to its salty minerality, the powerful wine impresses with spicy fruit and a fine smokiness, rounded off by a delicious melt. This wine goes perfectly with fish and sashimi. But also with grilled lamb with rosemary. The Aureus needs air and freedom to develop when it is young!
