2021 Lucente red wine, dry, 14% vol., Tenuta Luce

Lucente 2020 presents itself in a brilliant ruby red. The nose is dominated by aromas of dark fruits such as blueberries and blackberries, accompanied by a light balsamic nuance with hints of brioche. On the palate, Lucente 2020 reveals itself to be soft and carried by a pleasant freshness, with soft tannins and a long fruity finish. The Tenuta Luce winery was founded in 1995 from the dream and will of two wine visionaries: Marchese Vittorio Frescobaldi from Florence and Robert Mondavi from California. By combining their passion and culture, they wanted to bring an extraordinary, different wine to life in the heart of Montalcino. Their sons Lamberto and Tim, then young oenologists, finally realized their vision by marrying Sangiovese and Merlot, creating the first wine in Montalcino with this combination. The unique Luce Sun label is inspired by the high altar of the Basilica of Santo Spirito in Florence.
