Carnasciale is the second wine from the Podere Il Carnasciale winery and is made from 100% Caberlot grapes from younger vines. Caberlot is the result of a natural cross between Cabernet Franc and Merlot and has been cultivated exclusively on this estate since 1986. Carnasciale matures in French barriques. Its rich nuances already hint at the quality of its big brother, Il Caberlot. Carnasciale also pairs well with all braised dishes and roasts. 93 points from Wine Spectator.
