The Hochgrassnitzberg Sauvignon Blanc vineyard (location) is an exclusive wine grown on a sun-drenched southeast-facing site, in calcareous soil with shell limestone and sandy marls. The grapes come from vines over 30 years old. After the harvest, fermentation takes place in 2,200-liter wooden barrels. The wine matures for one year on the fermentation lees without the addition of sulfur and is then refined for another year in steel tanks. The result is a wine with a delicate bouquet reminiscent of flint. Its spicy, elegant aroma makes it a special tasting experience. The careful handling during the winemaking process, the long aging period, and the unique growing conditions give this Sauvignon Blanc remarkable complexity and depth. A wine that fascinatingly showcases the finesse of the vines and the characteristics of the terroir.
