AT-BIO-302 This Roesler appears blackish-purple in the glass. Its nose is very open and slightly animalic, while on the palate it offers surprising red berry notes with fresh acidity. The finish offers fruity notes of blood orange and fine tannins. Roesler is a new Austrian variety made from Zweigelt x Klosterneuburg 1189-9-77 (= Seyve Villard x Blaufrankisch). Harvested by hand, unfiltered, and contains no added sulfites. Bottled via gravity after 32 months. The name was changed in the 2017 vintage; it was previously called Zauber des Verzichts (Magic of Renunciation).
