2022 Der Fuchs Veltliner, dry, 12.5% vol., Sieghardt Donabaum

The Fuchs is a smart wine from the Wachau vineyards of winemaker Sighardt Donabaum. This varietal Veltliner presents itself with a fruity character, with notes of Christ pear, grapefruit, and pomegranate. On the palate, it`s fleshy, with plenty of stone fruit, citrus fruits, and the typical piquant herbal note-the exciting acidity makes it extremely drinkable. Between wanderlust and a sense of home, forester and winemaker, Sighardt Donabaum developed his hunting instinct for true enjoyment and genuine quality at an early age.
