Graham`s - LBV 2018 (Late Bottled Vintage) Port wine, sweet, 20% vol.

Late Bottled Vintage is made from grapes from a single vintage, but it`s not a vintage port in the true sense of the word. The LBV matures for 4-6 years in wooden barrels before being bottled at the right time. It presents itself in the glass with a deep, muted red color, great intensity, and full of red and jammy black fruit aromas with a hint of peppery heat. On the palate, it`s full-bodied and robust, with concentrated wild berry flavors and nuances of dark chocolate, yet balanced with well-structured tannins and a long, solid finish. Wonderful with chocolate desserts and hard cheeses, such as aged cheddar or soft goat cheese.
