Niepoort 2010 Colheita Port, sweet, 19.5% vol., Portugal

Coheita Ports are single-vintage Tawny Ports aged for at least seven years in oak barrels. This one was bottled in 2022. Its color is medium-deep brick red with a light orange rim. The slightly smoky-vanilla aroma comes from very old wine barrels, which also impart aromas of jam, raisins, and dried apricots to the port. Its medium body on the palate has a soft and lingering aftertaste.
