Corn grits. Corn grits. Preparation: Bring 2 1 / 2 liters of water to the boil and slowly pour in the corn semolina in a thin stream while stirring with a wooden spoon to avoid lumps. The polenta is ready when it comes away from the bottom of the pot when stirred. Serve the polenta on a wooden surface with a sauce of your choice. Store in a cool and dry place.
