The famous spaghetti format comes from southern Italy and mainly from those cities where pasta production is concentrated: Naples, Genoa and Liguria. The spaghetti format has the typical elongated, round shape and a diameter between 1.92mm and 2.00mm. Spaghetti can be served warm or cold, and practically all sauces are suitable: tomato sauces with vegetables or herbs, fish or seafood sauces but of course also sauces with soft cheese and cream. Since 1887, the De Cecco company has been producing pasta exclusively from the best types of durum wheat. Today the De Cecco brand is synonymous with quality in the wheat semolina pasta industry and De Cecco is a group with a turnover.
