All De Cecco whole grain pasta formats are made using the original De Cecco system. The penne rigate belongs to the family of short formats, is cut diagonally and comes from the Campania region. They have a diameter of approx. 8 mm and are approx. 50 mm long. The penne rigate is ideal for oven-baked pasta dishes, but can also simply be served with pork or beef sauces. They also taste excellent with vegetable sauces with pepperoni, zucchini or artichokes, etc.
