DE-OKO-001 Before hemp fell into oblivion and disrepute, it was an integral part of the diet for many centuries. The seeds of industrial hemp (Cannabis sativa) should not be confused with Indian hemp (Cannabis indica), whose THC content has intoxicating effects. Hemp seeds are offered unpeeled or peeled and are used raw or roasted in bread, pastries, cereals or snacks. Hemp tastes bitter, spicy and nutty. Unpeeled seeds have a nice crunchy bite.
