After decades of trading with this article, we have seen and tasted many varieties of basmati. Unfortunately, much of Basmati, which is mass-marketed worldwide, is no longer of convincing quality, and we think the Basmati from TILDA is the best. Try and enjoy the unique aroma already at the cooking, and the wonderful taste while eating. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil with a little salt, add 1 cup of basmati and switch the flame off immediately (standard hotplate) or very small (ceramic). When the rice has swollen for 20 minutes, the water is absorbed - Done! After cooking, it smells slightly nutty.

Long grain basmati rice polished. Long grain rice. Preparation: Measure 60 g of rice per serving. A unit of rice on two units of water. For best cooking results, let the rice swell for 30 minutes. Bring water to the boil, stir in the rice and bring to a boil again. Cover the pot and simmer the rice for 10 minutes. Store cool and dry. Processed and packaged in the UK.
