Ducca is a versatile Ethiopian spice blend. For seasoning and frying fish fillets such as sea bream or monkfish, but also mixed with oil to form a paste as a dip. In Egypt, this spice mixture is served for breakfast or as a snack with flatbread and olive oil; the bread is dipped in the oil and then in the ducca. Insider tip: Bread your fish or sweetbreads in Ducca, the sesame seeds become crispy and the fish is wonderfully flavored - simply delicious! Ducca consists of: sesame seeds, chickpeas, coriander, black pepper, cumin, mint and rock salt.
