Ecuador has been an important cocoa growing area for a long time because it produces the exceptional Forastero Bean. The Arriba species grows on plateaus and is famous for its fine aroma. Arribas unique location and climate combine to form a spicy dark chocolate, with rich fruit tones and a rounded aroma of roasted hazelnuts. Ideal for tart sauces and ganaches, but also for mousse and ice cream.
