So-called epigallocatechin-3-gallate was found in tea as an antioxidant. It belongs to the group of catechins that occur naturally in many woody plants; including in tea bushes. However, a single cup of green tea contains around 10-25 milligrams of epigallocatechin-3-gallate. This substance is largely destroyed in black tea. Jinhua jasmine tea is made from the exquisite green leaves of the best green tea in China. Through a special process, fresh jasmine flowers are added to the pre-dried green tea to develop the mild, full and floral aroma. The smell and taste are a real pleasure.
