Haiku Kurouchi knives are among the so-called Takumi knives. Takumi means master. The highest traditional craftsmanship, elegance and high-quality materials are combined in these cooking tools. The peculiarity of the Kurouchi knife lies in the blades, which are black forged and thus receive a great-knife character. The blade core is made of particularly hard blue Aoko steel, which is coated with softer iron for better flexibility and stability. The very flat ground blades, with 61 degrees Rockwell hardness, are extremely sharp and guarantee a very long blade life. Black glazed magnolia wood handles and stainless steel clamps complete these extraordinary knives.
