The direct juice for this nectar is made exclusively from the red-stemmed rhubarbs The Sutton and Framboozen, which have a fine aroma and give it a pale pink tint. The rhubarb comes from the fruit farmer Baumann from the Lower Rhine Rees and small farmers from the Cologne-Bonn lowlands. The rhubarb nectar can be drunk pure, as a spritzer or with sparkling wine. Fruit processing has a long tradition in the cider mill and private winery van Nahmen in Rheinisches Hamminkeln. The juice is deprived of nothing and nothing added: no preservatives, no flavorings. Particular attention is paid to the use of old fruit varieties and thus to the preservation of traditional, endangered cultivars.
