Light soy sauce is made from fermented soybeans and roasted grains. The taste is very mild. The light soy sauce Usukuchi yellow cap is primarily used for seasoning mixtures. Sanpaisu for salads, seasoning mix for tamagoyaki etc. Due to its different taste, you cannot use light soy sauce instead of normal dark soy sauce.
