Marc de Champagne, like the Italian Grappa, is a pomace brandy. De Champagne refers to the region from which the grapes originate. It is used in the fine confectionery for flambéing and for the production of chocolates alcoholic fillings. Note: Due to its high alcohol content of 60%, it is only approved for commercial use.
