Fondant frz. Melting consists of sugar and glucose candy syrup. The ingredients are cooked and then made into a soft paste by vigorous kneading and rapid cooling. This fondant mass is tough-soft and easily melts on the tongue. Fondant is mainly used to cover confectionery, chocolates and pastries. By adding essential oils, colors or alcohol, the desired effect can be achieved.
