    The manufactory

Since 1893, the vinegar manufactory Carl Weyers is run as a family business and is sometimes Germany`s oldest manufactory for exquisite specialty vinegar. In the fourth generation Leo Weyers runs the company today in Tuningen - Baden Württemberg. In the mid-nineties, the field of activity was expanded to specialize in fine fruit and balsamic vinegar for sophisticated cuisine. In manufacturing his products, Leo Weyers relies on experience and craftsmanship. The deliberate use of modern production and laboratory technology is a given today. Customer confidence in its fine vinegars is a big challenge. That is why he attaches great importance to the quality of his products. Winemakers, wine cooperatives, fruit growers and breweries, he offers the possibility of contract manufacturing from their own juices and wines to vinegar or balsamic vinegar. Connoisseurs appreciate these rarities: whether dandelion blossom, asparagus or raspberry vinegar and enjoy the nuances of fine taste

    The products in production

At Leo Weyers, traditional and modern manufacturing processes complement each other to form a harmonious whole. Particular attention is paid to the selection of raw materials. Only pure fruit juices, so-called mother juices, are used to produce fruit vinegars. When it comes to specialty vinegars, he consciously avoids adulterating procedures such as filtration, which can change the color and aroma.
During the storage period following production, the vinegars clarify naturally as the solids settle. Experience and care are basic requirements for production, but the actual process of making vinegar is far more difficult. It is Leo Weyers` passion for creating new things and his love for his job that create these extraordinary top products.
