About noble houses finally available to everyone

The French Sun King Louis XIV was so enthusiastic about mustard that he gave it his own coat of arms. Chancellor Otto von Bismarck even admitted that there was nothing he liked better than Frankfurt sausages with mustard. What princes and crowned heads liked was also enjoyed by the citizens. So the first German mustard factory was founded in Dusseldorf in 1726. Its speciality was a spicy, dark mustard that quickly became known beyond Germany`s borders under the name ABB and established Dusseldorf`s fame as a mustard metropolis. Lowensenf has continued this tradition after the First World War, right up to the present day.
