Since the 13th century the Fürsthof is in the small town of Metz village family owned. Located on the lower reaches of the Sauer, a picturesque border river between Germany and Luxembourg.
Here amid green idyll we manage our vineyards. The Fürsthof was originally a working farm with livestock, wine and agriculture, in recent decades, and Martin
Sissi completely converted him to the production of quality wines with regional character. Michael is the third generation winemaker. He is well educated, well traveled, curious and ambitious. He believes in
Quality, to the knowledge of nature, and on friendly production methods. He wants to work out the domestic wine character. Exactly at this point tends to the wineries to pay homage to the landscape,
to beweihräuchern the perfect soil, and to deify the climate. Everything was quite fantastic. No one speaks of the hailstorm, of eating greedy flocks of birds, or climate change and its challenges.
So we remain honest: grape is a complex and eventful work, it takes time and sometimes nervous. But in the end we are rewarded with these wonderful wines.
This much is certain: the climate is mild, the limestone soil rely holding Sauer valley warm, and we want great wines right here produce for every day. Those who want to know more, can feel free to
