The history of the Keller and the Hubacker

The origins of the sex cellar go back to Switzerland. When Johann Leonhard Keller left his home in 1789, driven by the unrest of the French Revolution, he bought a house in Dalsheim near the church and began to deal with agriculture and winegrowing. His good relations with the clergy enabled him, a short time later, to acquire the Dalsheimer Oberhacker, who was still in the possession of the penitentiary.

In the vineyard and in the cellar the highest standards of quality are standard, rigorous selection of the grapes and hand-picked, only complete and healthy grapes and the exclusive use of natural yeasts are intended to reflect the lag types of the lime-rich vineyards and their irresistible minerality.

Klaus Peter Keller is one of ten winegrowers who are run in the German wine Gault Millau with five grapes.
