    ANDALUSIAN SUPERSTARS
    Castle of Canena.
The Vano family owns large olive groves in the Jaen region, in southwest Spain, and produces exceptionally good oils from their olives. The Reserva Familiar line from the Picual and the Arbequina are characterized by impressive complexity and density. New is the Primero made from the first harvested olives of the Royal variety. The native, old variety of the region was replanted by Vanos and thus revived. It is the greenest olive oil we have ever tasted: it tastes like freshly mown grass, peppery and slightly bitter. This is pure freshness and harmony. The oils from Castillo de Canena have received many international awards.

    OIL FROM THE COOPERATIVE
    Aroden.
The Aroden cooperative in Andalusia presses an incredibly intensely fruity olive oil from the Hojiblanca olive. The DO oil comes from the Priego de Cordoba area of origin. An excellent seasoning oil for dishes with roasted notes.

    THE OIL WITH THE BLACKDROP
    Marques de Valdueza.
While the Marquez de Valdueza was pressed from the first olives, the Merula blackbird oil is made from ripe olives.
