Since the foundation of the winery 1849 mature top wines from unique vineyards in Ruppertsberg, Deidesheim and Forst in our historical cellar. Leopold von Winning, Dr. Schwiesersohn Andreas Deinhard, devoted himself to the task of producing great wines in 1907 in order to meet these special situations. Through meticulous work he raised the wines of the estate to a new level. In addition, he was a founding member of the VDP: the worlds most demanding association of top winemakers who wanted to work only gently and in a natural way. Today the young and hungry team around Stephan Attmann pursues the same goals as the visionary Leopold von Winning and is committed to his legacy: the great wine!

Intensive and near-natural work in the vineyards allows us to harvest highly aromatic grapes, which can be sensitively vinified in the cellar without having to interfere with the inner structure of the wine
