Jean and Suzanne Perromat purchased Chateau de Cerons in 1958. Drawing on a family tradition that goes back generations, they created wines that expressed a strong personality. Their marriage and shared passion for winemaking, with the help of their son Xavier, led to the great success of their vineyards on both banks of the Garonne.

    Chateau de Cerons has always been a winery producing wine. Xavier and Caroline Perromat took over the family estate Chateau de Cerons and the 26 hectares of vineyards that surround it in 2012.
    With their technical team, they attach great importance to ensuring that their wines faithfully reflect the elegant and precise character of Cerons` terroir.
    In the 18th and early 19th centuries, the property belonged to the family of the Marquis de Calvimont, members of the Bordeaux Parliament originally from Normandy. During this time, the castle`s majestic reception rooms played host to numerous artists and intellectuals.
