Walnuts are the stone fruits of the real walnut tree. The yellowish-white kernels are covered by a thin, light brown skin. Walnuts can be served as a snack, but can also be served with cheese or port wine as a dessert. Halved or roughly chopped, they add a spicy bite to salads, fruit bread, pasta sauces, pastries, desserts, pastries or roast fillings. The best walnuts we offer come from the Perigord. Also ideal for producing walnut oil or liqueur products.
