Schloss VAUX stands for uncompromising sparkling wine production while maintaining traditional craftsmanship. This means: All Schloss VAUX sparkling wines are produced using the traditional method of classic bottle fermentation. This is how pure Riesling and Burgundy sparkling wines are created, as well as the specialty of the VAUX house, the Rheingau single-vineyard sparkling wine from renowned vineyard locations.
Special care is taken to ensure that the highest quality standards are maintained, from the grapes to the elegant finishes. At Schloss VAUX, only first-class, tailor-made wines mature into individual sparkling wines. This is guaranteed by our winery in Geisenheim and the personal contacts with the winegrowers that have developed over decades.
The symbol of the special quality of the VAUX single-vineyard sparkling wine is the unique cellar plaque with the VAUX seal.

The beginning of every VAUX sparkling wine is the work in the vineyard. From pruning in winter to breaking out in spring to the final grape harvest in autumn - this is where we lay the foundation for our sparkling wine base wines. Our team works with tact, precision and the right instinct for the timing to create optimal conditions for our sparkling wine base wines. In addition to cultivating our own vineyards in Geisenheim, we also obtain the grapes for our sparkling wine from partner companies in the Palatinate and Rheinhessen. A close exchange and a constant partnership also lay the perfect basis for our basic sparkling wines.
